It's Not History, But Rather Alternative Sports History

What if the Steelers had drafted Dan Marino in 1983?
From the imaginative minds at Gridiron America Radio comes a new “alternative” sports history podcast that seeks to answer many of the “what might have beens?” in the field of competitive athletics.

Each episode utilizes real world statistics, as well as artificial intelligence to analyze and understand the computer modeling (provided by Sportsmaster Simulation Games) of various “What if?” scenarios, and the resultant butterfly effects, both on and off the field.

We then discuss the results with our panel and guests to determine if said computer modeling matches the expectations and preconceived notions the real world simulations seek to explore and which our resident AI has analyzed and offer their own conclusions.

But so what? Why bother with simulations and alternative history? Whats the point?

Because asking the "What if?" questions and modeling out an alternative history allows us to better understand the actual history of any event, be it politics, war or even sports. In looking at the "might have beens," and "would of, could have, should of have," we can understand more clearly why history happened the way it did.

And for us here at Gridiron America Radio and the Sports History Network, that's the whole point...

What if the Cowboys had made a trade to land Earl Campbell in the 1978 draft?
